Soccer Recap: Stevenson Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Stevenson lost against Dearborn two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Stevenson have lost by just one goal.

Stevenson's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-7-1. As for Dearborn, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Stevenson will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Mercy at 7:00 p.m. Mercy's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Dearborn, they are taking a road trip to challenge Belleville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Belleville will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Dearborn surely won't give up without a fight.
