Recap: Hart Longhorns vs. Bovina Mustangs
The Hart Longhorns lost against the Bovina Mustangs back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Hart was dealt a 68-25 defeat at the hands of Bovina. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hart has scored all season.
Bovina's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Eric Solis led the charge by scoring ten points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Those three blocks set a new season-high mark for him. Daniel Herrera was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Hart's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-7. As for Bovina, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-11.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Happy the next time they take the court. Bovina will head out to face Happy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while Hart will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
