Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greensboro Day School). They came out on top against the South Wake Sabres by a score of 75-66 on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Bengals have won by exactly nine points.

South Wake's loss came despite strong showings from Savannah Taylor and Rebekah Hartzell. Taylor went 8 for 12 en route to 21 points and eight rebounds, while Hartzell went 8 of 12 on her way to 22 points and five boards. Hartzell's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ausley Claire Curry, who posted four points.

The victory made it two in a row for Greensboro Day School and bumps their season record up to 18-9. As for South Wake, their loss ended a 15-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 24-2.

The future could be bright for both Greensboro Day School and South Wake: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Greensboro Day School will look to extend Caldwell Academy's three-game losing streak when the meet at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, South Wake will try to hand Durham Flight HomeSchool their seventh-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
