Basketball Recap: Melcher-Dallas' Losing Streak Snapped at 20 Games

Melcher-Dallas came into Thursday's matchup having lost 20 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Diagonal Maroons, posting a 63-28 win. The Saints have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Maroons, too.

Melcher-Dallas' victory ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-12. As for Diagonal, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Melcher-Dallas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-42 defeat against Twin Cedars on the 24th. Diagonal has also already played their next game, a 74-19 loss against Ankeny Christian Academy on the 24th.
