Recap: Harrison Raiders vs. Danville Warriors
After a string of four wins, the Harrison Raiders's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Danville by a score of 59-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Harrison's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Malachi King, who scored 21 points. The match was King's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Ray Gibson was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 7 assists.
Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Danville, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Harrison and McCutcheon will face off at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. McCutcheon will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings (they are ranked 321st, while Harrison is ranked 12th). Danville will be home for the holidays to greet Lebanon at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Lebanon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
