Basketball Recap: Fulton Find Success

Fulton posted their closest win since February 10, 2024 on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cocke County Fighting Cocks, sneaking past 65-62. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 62-54 back in December of 2024.

Fulton's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-8. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.0 points per game. As for Cocke County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fulton will head out to face off against Alcoa at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cocke County, they will venture away from home to square off against Seymour at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Seymour is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.8 points per game this season.
