After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Lamar, Holy Spirit Catholic was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Aliceville Yellowjackets by a score of 5-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Saints as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Alex Tant made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
