Football Recap: Fayetteville Has No Trouble Against Springdale

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bentonville, Fayetteville was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on Springdale with a sharp 52-28 victory. The result was nothing new for Fayetteville, who have now won three contests by 24 points or more so far this season.

Hank Hendrix produced another solid performance throwing for 406 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also punching in a pair of TDs on the ground. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (153.5). Kaleb Johnson was another key player, rushing for 58 yards and one score.

The win got Fayetteville back to even at 4-4. As for Springdale, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fayetteville will venture away from home to face off against Rogers Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. As for Springdale, they will head out to take on Bentonville at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven matchups.
