Soccer Recap: Carolina International Comes Up Short

Carolina International was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Piedmont Community Charter this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in March.

Carolina International's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Piedmont Community Charter, the victory got them back to even at 7-7-1.

Looking ahead, Carolina International will square off against Jackson Day on Monday. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they will face off against Pinnacle Classical Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pinnacle Classical Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Piedmont Community Charter surely won't give up without a fight.
