Volleyball Recap: Cruz Comes Up Short

Cruz lost against Beacon Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Dragons fell 2-0 to the Trailblazers.

While Cruz ultimately came up short, they really made Beacon Academy work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-15.

Cruz dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Beacon Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cruz will challenge Roycemore at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Beacon Academy, they will head out to take on Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
