Basketball Recap: Sports Leadership & Management Takes a Loss

Sports Leadership & Management was the 53-46 winner over Boca Raton Christian when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Sports Leadership & Management Giants received a blow on Thursday as they fell 79-65 to the Boca Raton Christian Blazers. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (60), the Giants still had to take the loss.

This is the second loss in a row for Sports Leadership & Management and nudges their season record down to 5-3. As for Boca Raton Christian, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Sports Leadership & Management won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Spanish River at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sports Leadership & Management knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Spanish River likes a good challenge. As for Boca Raton Christian, they will be home for the holidays to greet Trinity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th.
