Basketball Recap: Cooper Bulldogs vs. Boles Hornets
Cooper lost against Boles on January 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cooper Bulldogs took a 44-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boles Hornets. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marilynn Wilkerson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 17 rebounds. That's the most boards Wilkerson has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Shantel Walker, who posted seven points and five rebounds.
Cooper's loss dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Boles, their victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cooper will welcome Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Boles, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Cumby at 6:45 p.m.
