Softball Recap: West Deptford Comes Up Short

West Deptford fell victim to Haddon Township and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-5 back in April.

West Deptford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Macey Harrold, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

With the defeat, West Deptford broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-10. As for Haddon Township, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Deptford will face off against Gloucester City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Haddon Township, they will square off against Sterling at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
