Baseball Recap: Indian Springs Takes a Loss

After flying high against Entrepreneur last Thursday, Indian Springs came back down to earth. The COYOTES took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Gorgonio Spartans on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the COYOTES of the 8-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2021.

Indian Springs has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for San Gorgonio, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-11 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Indian Springs will challenge Entrepreneur at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 21.86 runs per game on average), something the COYOTES will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for San Gorgonio, they will take on Jurupa Hills at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. San Gorgonio's pitchers better be ready for this one: Jurupa Hills has averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season.
