            Softball Recap: Crescenta Valley Falcons vs. Arcadia Apaches        
        
		
        
        
            There's no place like home for Crescenta Valley, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Wednesday. They came out on top against the Arcadia Apaches on Tuesday by a score of  4-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Falcons have posted  since February 19th.
 Chloe Mulcahey spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on eight hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Mila Reddy was  incredible,  going 1-for-2 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alexa Johnson, who  went 1-for-2 with two  runs and one  stolen base.

Crescenta Valley's victory was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 14-6. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Arcadia, their loss dropped their record down to 12-9-1.
 Arcadia has already played their next contest,  a  6-0  victory against Burbank on the 3rd. Hopefully Crescenta Valley paid attention to the Apaches'  match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Apaches  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
