Grove City and Pickerington North are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Greyhounds will host the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Grove City has three straight wins, Pickerington North has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Last Monday, Grove City made easy work of New Albany and carried off a 12-1 victory. The Greyhounds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, Pickerington North fell victim to Central Crossing and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets.

Pickerington North saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mariah Gent, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Grove City's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Pickerington North, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
