Soccer Recap: Riverview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Riverview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Jeannette Jayhawks, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for Riverview seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Riverview now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Jeannette, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

Coming up, Riverview will be playing at home against St. Joseph at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Riverview will be up against St. Joseph's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.6 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Jeannette, they will take on Trinity Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
