Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Deposit-Hancock's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Deposit-Hancock won the last time they faced Greene, and Blake Fortunato did his part to make sure it happened again. Deposit-Hancock walked away with a 68-61 victory over the Greene Trojans on Thursday thanks to Fortunato, who posted 25 points in addition to seven rebounds and four blocks. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points.

Micah Simmons was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 15 boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down 12 or more in the last 17 games he's played.

Deposit-Hancock has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Greene, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-12.
