Tongue River is a perfect 10-0 against Wright since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tongue River Eagles are taking a road trip to take on the Wright Panthers at 3:00 p.m. Tongue River is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Tongue River will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Sundance, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Tongue River enjoyed a cozy 41-27 win over Sundance on Saturday.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Wright faced off against Wind River on Friday. Wright fell to Wind River 58-53. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Tongue River will need to focus on slowing down Briana Meza, one of several Wright players who made an impact when they last played. She posted ten points in addition to seven assists and six boards. The dominant performance gave Meza a new career-high in assists. Another player making a difference was Anaeli Salas, who put up 15 points and eight rebounds.

Wright now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Tongue River, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-0.

Everything came up roses for Tongue River against Wright in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 63-21 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tongue River since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
