Basketball Recap: Muscle Shoals Takes a Loss

Muscle Shoals saw some tournament action on Friday. They lost 70-48 to the Murphy Panthers.

Muscle Shoals' loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Murphy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.

Muscle Shoals won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Northridge at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Northridge has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 191 points over their last three games. As for Murphy, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Minor at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Minor is on a five-game streak of home wins, Murphy a five-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season)-- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
