Soccer Recap: Valley Triumphs

Valley and Wellington combined for seven shots on goal on Thursday, which explains the impressive five total goals scored. The Valley Vikings narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wellington Eagles 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Christina Maestas and Azul Mendoza scored all three of Valley's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
