Point Pleasant Beach waltzed into their game on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They breezed by the Liberty Lions to the tune of 77-50. The Garnet Gulls have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 23 points or more this season.

Point Pleasant Beach pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points over those games. As for Liberty, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Looking ahead, Point Pleasant Beach will host Henry Hudson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Point Pleasant Beach knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Henry Hudson likes a good challenge.
