Basketball Recap: Apostolic Christian Skates Past Paideia Academy with Ease

Apostolic Christian won the last time they faced Paideia Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. Apostolic Christian breezed by the Paideia Academy Knights to the tune of 68-34. That looming 68-34 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Apostolic Christian yet this season.

Apostolic Christian was led to victory by Brady Wilson and Rogan Bailey. Wilson went 9 of 12 on his way to 18 points in addition to eight assists and seven boards, while Bailey went 5 for 9 on his way to 12 points in addition to six boards and four steals. Bailey has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Wilson, who posted nine points.

Apostolic Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.7 points. As for Paideia Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Apostolic Christian is facing Knoxville Christian at the right time seeing as Knoxville Christian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Paideia Academy, they will take on Clayton-Bradley Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Paideia Academy will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Clayton-Bradley Academy will have lost eight straight heading into Monday's matchup.
