Softball Recap: Bishop McCort Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bishop McCort's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bald Eagle Area Eagles on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Crushers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bishop McCort saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Zeglin, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Bishop McCort now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Bald Eagle Area, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

While Bishop McCort had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
