Basketball Recap: Union Takes a Loss

Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Roselle Catholic Lions, falling 57-34. The Farmers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in January of 2022.

Union's loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Union will take on Cranford in a holiday battle at at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Roselle Catholic and Riviera Prep will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Riviera Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Roselle Catholic likes a good challenge.
