 The Pasquotank County Panthers pushed their score all the way to 59 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were the victim of a  rough 85-59 defeat at the hands of First Flight. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pasquotank County in their matchups with First Flight: they've now lost seven in a row.
 Pasquotank County's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Brandon Smith, who  scored 17 points along with six  rebounds, and  Jamari Seymore who  scored 19 points along with four  blocks. Smith hasn't dropped below 17 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Landon Kuhn, who  scored seven points.
 It was another big night for  Mason Dobie, who  scored 36 points for First Flight. Another player making a difference was  Brody Woods, who  scored 13 points.
 Pasquotank County's defeat was  their third straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 5-16. As for First Flight, the  victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-9.
 Pasquotank County will be playing at home against Northeastern at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Northeastern will roll in looking for their  eighth straight  victory, something Pasquotank County surely won't give up without a fight. As for First Flight, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Currituck County at 8:00  p.m.  on Friday. First Flight has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
