Soccer Game Preview: Richland vs. Celina

The Richland Raiders will head out to square off against the Celina Bobcats at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Richland had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the seven-goal drubbing they dealt Sanger on Monday. The Raiders never let the Indians get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Winning may never get old, but Richland sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Meanwhile, Celina got the win against Sanger on Tuesday by a conclusive 8-0. That's two games straight that Celina have won by exactly eight goals.

Richland's record is now 12-1-2. As for Celina, their record now sits at 14-1-1.

Richland suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Celina in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
