Softball Recap: Monacan Chiefs vs. J.R. Tucker Tigers
After losing to J.R. Tucker the last time they met, Monacan decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Chiefs blew past the Tigers 12-2 on Monday. Considering the Chiefs' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
The team relied heavily on Katelyn Marshall, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Addison Gee, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
