Basketball Recap: Parkway Comes Up Short

Parkway lost against Coldwater back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Parkway Panthers took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coldwater Cavaliers. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 428th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 166th).

Parkway's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Coldwater, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Parkway will challenge St. Henry at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. As for Coldwater, they will venture away from home to face off against Upper Scioto Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
