For the second straight game, West Valley will face off against Anderson. The Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Cubs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

West Valley's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Anderson as they made off with a 10-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Jayden Miller made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, earning two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, West Valley let Gunner Church and Kale Springer run wild. Church went 3-for-4 with one triple and two RBI, while Springer went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most hits Church has posted since back in June of 2025. Another player making a difference was Sawyer Stone, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

West Valley has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Anderson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
