Football Recap: Lawrence Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lawrence Academy can now relate to. They were dealt a 52-8 defeat at the hands of the Faith Christian Patriots on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 60 points in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Simon Lundy threw for 108 yards on 11 of 22 attempts. Ben Woodard was his top target, picking up 30 receiving yards.

Faith Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isaac Suber, who picked up 110 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 36 yards and one TD. Those 110 receiving yards gave Suber a new career-high. Blayde Hinton was another key passer, throwing for 216 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine passes.
