Basketball Recap: Millington Central Falls Despite Big Games from Andre Tyler and Cody Mcghee

Millington Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 68-57 to the Kirby Cougars.

Millington Central's loss came despite strong showings from Cody McGhee and Andre Tyler. McGhee posted 12 points in addition to five assists and three steals, while Tyler scored 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Tyler has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Marlow Bean, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards.

Millington Central's defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Kirby, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Millington Central nor Kirby have any future games scheduled.
