Basketball Recap: The Leffell School Takes a Loss

The Leffell School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Yonkers Montessori Academy Eagles, falling 69-33. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-20 on January 7th.

The Leffell School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Yonkers Montessori Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Leffell School will challenge Woodlands at 4:30 p.m. on February 4th. Yonkers Montessori Academy has already played their next matchup (against Somers), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
