Hoggard came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Wake Forest Cougars by a score of 3-1. Hoggard have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Wake Forest, too.

Ari Tanner and James Mclean scored all three of Hoggard's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Hoggard's win bumped their record up to 6-1-1. As for Wake Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-4.
