Baseball Recap: Park Tudor Comes Up Short

After flying high against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard on Monday, Park Tudor came back down to earth. The Panthers took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the University Trailblazers on Friday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Trailblazers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Park Tudor saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dominic Gasper, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Park Tudor's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 12-9. As for University, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-11.

Looking ahead, Park Tudor will square off against Pike at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for University, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastbrook at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Trailblazers have won six straight at home, while the Panthers won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
