Volleyball Recap: Benton Zephyrs vs. Potosi Chieftains
Benton extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 4-18. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Potosi Chieftains. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Chieftains this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat back in September.
Benton's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Faith Auderer, who had 20 digs. Another player making a difference was Madeline Davis, who had six digs and two aces.
As for Potosi, the win got them back to even at 11-11. The victory made it back-to-back wins for they.
Leading Potosi to victory were Grace Eastlick and Lexi Harris. Eastlick had 21 digs and one assist, while Harris had 14 digs.
