The Houston Academy Raiders will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Ariton Purple Cats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Houston Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.

Houston Academy's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Highland Home as Houston Academy made off with an 11-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Their offense was hitting Highland Home from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Elsie Shirley led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Ariton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 5-1 to New Brockton.

Houston Academy pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six matchups. As for Ariton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Houston Academy took their victory against Ariton in their previous matchup back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 10-0. Does Houston Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Ariton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
