Volleyball Recap: Tornillo Comes Up Short

Tornillo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Anthony Wildcats. If the Coyotes were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Tornillo's loss dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for Anthony, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-11 record this season.

Tornillo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Presidio on the 26th. As for Anthony, they will take on Kermit at 1:05 p.m. on Saturday.
