Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Tuesday. Trinity Christian Academy blew past Central Florida Christian Academy 3-0. Trinity Christian Academy was shut out 3-0 the last time they took on Central Florida Christian Academy, so Trinity Christian Academy was just returning the favor.

Trinity Christian Academy was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-12.

Sarah McManama paced Trinity Christian Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. McManama got some help from Charlee Phillips and her 14 assists. Phillips was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.

Trinity Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Central Florida Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Christian Academy will welcome Mount Dora Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central Florida Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Orlando Science at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
