Max Bishop posted a new career-low in hits on Tuesday. He was dynamite, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Even though Bishop couldn't lead La Salle over Canby, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sadly, Bishop's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Falcons' six-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Bishop and the Falcons surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Wednesday's match.
