Basketball Game Preview: Allendale Falcons vs. Coopersville Broncos

The Allendale Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Coopersville Broncos at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Allendale's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.

Allendale is headed into the game having just posted their biggest win since January 3rd on Friday. Everything went their way against Kenowa Hills as Allendale made off with a 74-50 victory. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while the Knights are ranked 231st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Coopersville got the win against Lowell on Friday by a conclusive 65-41. The win continues a trend for the Broncos in their matchups with the Red Arrows: they've now won three in a row.

Allendale pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Coopersville, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.

Allendale barely slipped by Coopersville in their previous meeting back in January, winning 52-51. The rematch might be a little tougher for Allendale since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
