Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln vs. Pinkston

Lincoln is 1-9 against Pinkston since March of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Lincoln Tigers will head out to challenge the Pinkston Vikings at 6:30 p.m.

Lincoln is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Monday. They came up short against Conrad, falling 8-2.

Meanwhile, Pinkston waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Chargers get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. Considering the Vikings have won 11 contests by more than two goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Pinkston pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six matchups. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Lincoln might still be hurting after the 16-1 loss they got from Pinkston in their previous matchup back in January. Can Lincoln avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
