After losing to Mesa the last time they met, Mountain View decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mountain View Toros secured a 70-64 W over the Mesa Jackrabbits on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Toros.

Mesa lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Jakyi Miles, who posted 21 points and five boards. He has been hot recently, having posted 20 or more points the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jarren Galarza, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 14 points and four steals.

Mountain View's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Mesa, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-7.

Mountain View does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mesa, they will host Tolleson at 7:00 p.m. on February 21st. One thing working in Mesa's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
