Peabody proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 68) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 49-46 victory over the Grant Cougars. The Warhorses haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Peabody's record now sits at 10-13. As for Grant, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Peabody will head out to square off against Franklin Parish on Friday. As for Grant, they will venture away from home to challenge Castor at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
