Soccer Recap: Santa Maria Takes a Loss

Santa Maria entered their match against Arroyo Grande on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Santa Maria Saints fell just short of the Arroyo Grande Eagles by a score of 2-1. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Saints couldn't quite close it out.

This is the second loss in a row for Santa Maria and nudges their season record down to 5-4-2. As for Arroyo Grande, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4-1.
