Soccer Recap: University School Comes Up Short at Home Against Elizabethton

University School unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones on Thursday, falling 6-2.

Anatole Mastalerz and Cooper Booth scored both of University School's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Elizabethton now has a winning record of 1-0-1.

University School has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw against West Ridge on the 11th. As for Elizabethton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 5-0 win against Sullivan East on the 11th.
