Football Recap: Camp Point Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Camp Point Central can now relate to. They took a 16-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brown County Hornets on Saturday. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Camp Point Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kale Niekamp rushed for 84 yards and one TD on only five carries. Niekamp's longest rush was for an incredible 71 yards.

Camp Point Central's loss dropped their record down to 10-1. As for Brown County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

As of now, neither Camp Point Central nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
