Basketball Recap: Ashland Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Ashland came into Tuesday's matchup having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged the Antigo Red Robins out 39-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Oredockers have posted since December 21, 2023.

Ashland's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-16. As for Antigo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ashland has already played their next contest (against St. Croix Falls), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Antigo will venture away from home to challenge Mosinee at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
