Baseball Game Preview: Lexington Minutemen vs. Pawnee Indians

The Lexington Minutemen will take on the Pawnee Indians at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lexington heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Friday. They lost 16-1 to Marquette. The Minutemen's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Lexington saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayden Knight, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Meanwhile, Pawnee suffered their biggest defeat since May 9th on Friday. They came up short against Father McGivney Catholic, falling 16-1. Like the Minutemen, the Indians also had to let a streak go: they had won five straight, but that streak is no more.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 19-12. As for Pawnee, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-14.
