Basketball Game Preview: Pungo Christian Academy Raiders vs. Ridgecroft Rams

The Pungo Christian Academy Raiders just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Ridgecroft Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Pungo Christian Academy came up short against Lawrence Academy and fell 58-51. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 426th, while the Warriors are ranked 146th).

Meanwhile, Ridgecroft earned a 49-37 victory over Northeast Academy on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rams.

Pungo Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Ridgecroft, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.

Pungo Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind Ridgecroft when the teams last played on January 7th, losing 69-53. Can Pungo Christian Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
